    Donna Tarrt American novelist who published The Secret History and The Little Friend, two critically acclaimed books that have been translated into thirty languages. The Little Friend by Tartt earned Tartt the 2003 WH Smith Literary Award. 2014 saw her book The Goldfinch win the Pulitzer Prize.
