Belfast-born Denis Tuohy was the first Catholic newscaster to join BBC Northern Ireland. He moved to London in 1964 to join the brand-new BBC 2, and reported through the 1960s and 70s for flagship BBC programmes including Twenty-four Hours, Panorama, Midweek and Tonight. In between BBC engagements Denis worked for ITV's This Week from 1970 to 1972, and was head-hunted back to ITV in 1979 just in time to record a famous interview with Margaret Thatcher for TV Eye, on the eve of what became the Thatcher era in Britain. As a reporter, Denis Tuohy travelled widely to cover key events in world politics right through to the 1990s, and in the course of his career interviewed many of the world's leading figures in politics and culture, including Michael Mac Liammoir, Duke Ellington, Salvador Allende, Richard Burton, the Shah of Iran, Muhammed Ali, Seamus Heaney and Mary Robinson. Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products or special orders. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
