    Penguin 90th Archive Series Collection

    Penguin 90th Archive Series Collection.

Since 1935, Penguin has been at the heart of the stories and ideas that shape the world around us.

The adventure began with a simple but controversial notion.  That decent literature should not cost more than a pack of cigarettes.  Despite reservations from publishers and booksellers, Penguin founder Allen Lane was proven correct.  Within a year, three million Penguins had reached readers' shelves.

From the first ten paperbacks with their famous triband design to the bedtime stories, cookbooks, classics, and thrillers you read today, our authors and books have always been present in the moment, creating culture and assisting us in making sense of the world.

Penguin has spent decades connecting people with books they love and treasure, books that ignite ideas, and books that fuel debates and arguments.  Penguin has accompanied generations of readers through innumerable movements, fads, and preferences, from wars and the welfare state to punk, psychedelia, free expression, and fantasy.

Ninety years later, the mission remains unchanged.  Penguin publishes books for everyone.  A book has the ability to transform anyone, and we wish Penguin a wonderful  90th anniversary.

The Collection below is displayed in Alphabetical order of the author's first name.  We hope you enjoy.
